An avid traveler, Christine brings to TE’03 a good understanding of differing cultures and people and a great sense of humor. She has traveled to many countries in Europe and North Africa and has spent the last twenty years exploring the back roads of Mexico. One goal in her life is to say she has been to all seven continents in the world. Always looking to challenge herself, she hopes the trek to base camp will serve as a role model for others to set out on personal journeys of their own. She looks forward to visiting the people of Nepal and experiencing the richness of their culture.

Christine has a moderate to severe hearing loss and is currently the Director for Human Resource Management for the Public Utility Commission of Texas. She and her husband Douglas live in Austin.
