Challenge Trek Team

Kim is a disability advocacy coordinator and Reiki master. She is a longtime adult leader with the Boy Scouts and has a degree in auto body repair. She is a person with Hip Dysplagia, Fibromyalgia and a Bipolar condition.

"I want to join Team Everest '03 for every child told they were too uncoordinated to dance, for every person told after an injury they would never recover, for every person with a mental aliens who has had to live with the stigma, for every child told they couldn't be a part of a team because they did things differently. Most of all, I want to help others with limitation of any kind, real or imagined, to see that with determination and faith, by finding solutions out of the box, they can accomplish anything they set their mind to."

Kim lives in the Texoma area of north Texas with her husband David and their son.
