Matt is a great motivator and public speaker. As he puts it, “I
don’t give up.” His athletic pursuits include basketball,
rugby, football, softball, water skiing and weight training. Matt
is a paraplegic and hopes to show by making the trek to Everest
base camp that “our hearts can do
what our limbs may be restricted from doing.” Matt
lives in San Marcos at the foot of the Texas Hill Country.
