Gary
Guller & Dennis Borel meet Dripping Springs Students
Over 80 students from Dripping Springs Middle and High Schools
attended a presentation by expedition leader Gary Guller, an international
mountaineer and Austinite with one arm, and Dennis Borel, Executive
Director of the Coalition of Texans with Disabilities and Project
Director of Team Everest '03. These students, exemplifying the finest
leaders in the area, have made it their class project to be involved
in TE '03, and plan to show their support of the
expedition by promoting TE '03 to their respective student organizations.
TE '03 has captured the imagination, not only of Dripping Springs
students, but all of Central Texas and the USA. Says Guller:
We are pleased that Dripping Springs students share
in the vision of promoting the capabilities of people with disabilities.
It was an absolute pleasure talking with them about Team Everest
'03 and promoting this message. We are honored and looking forward
to communicating with the students from the mountain. We thank you
for your support!
