- attended the Press Conference held by The Honorable Rick Perry,
Governor of Texas, at the Texas State Capitol today. Paul Carrozza,
co-chair of the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, also spoke.
The story was aired on several Austin news programs and was reported
in San Antonio, Dallas and Austin newspapers. Perry stated:
 We
are here today to recognize and celebrate the limitless potential
of the human spirit. I applaud the members of Team Everest for dreaming
big and pioneering new trails. You remind us that society should
never place limits on the ability of the human mind or the potential
of the human spirit.
