Raised in Colorado, Bill competed in Nordic skiing for more than 15 years and raced in US Nationals and World Cup competitions. He has been to the top of Mt. McKinley and on 12 expeditions to North America’s deepest cave, Lechiguilla. In Colorado he has been in numerous caves and has made over 100 ascents to the summits of mountains above 14,000’ (as many as six summits in one day).

Living in Dillon with his wife Suzanne and their two children he has found ways to incorporate his extensive outdoor interests into his photography business. Bill says his favorite images are of extreme environments that show how small we humans are compared to the world around us. Bill will be the summit team photographer documenting Gary Guller's record breaking attempt to climb to the summit of Mt. Everest.
